But, wedding, what wedding we hear you say? Well, yes, what a year 2020 has been! Who could possibly have guessed that a pandemic was about to put life- and weddings- on hold😷. We know that this has been a very stressful and worrying time for so many. Weddings have had to be cancelled and postponed, however, they are taking place again, albeit on a smaller scale and with regards to when to buy for a 2021 wedding, where do I start?!
Well, as is the case with everything at the moment, there is much uncertainty. Orders for new summer 2021 stock have been placed. However, we are very much reliant on manufacturers being able to trade as normal, in order that new collections are produced and delivered on time. At the moment, the world seems to be taking backward steps, so, we just cross fingers that normality does return soon and that we are able to have a summer season of old!
In the meantime, the one thing that we can say with certainty is that we have an extensive and fabulous collection in stock-now! So, if you are looking for a mother of bride or groom outfit for a wedding in 2021 or, indeed, a last minute wedding, please read on and come and see us soon!
We stock an extensive collection of dresses 👗👗 in varying styles, but, there is absolutely no doubting that our most popular shape at the moment is the full skirted dress! And, what's not to love? They disguise what many of our customers want to disguise and most of them come with the all important sleeve! Many tell us that they just don't think they will suit a full skirt, but, having tried on, are converted. Naturally, they are not for everyone, we are all different and the full skirted look is just not for all. Quite literally, a mother of bride or groom outfit is not a "one size fits all" subject. We want, above all else, for our customers to leave with the dress that they feel fabulous in, the dress that is going to make you feel a million dollars on the big day!
Our present price range is 180GBP to 300GBP with three exceptions. Our hats and fascinators go from 40GBP to 140GBP and our satin shoe and bag sets average 100GBP. Weddings are an expensive occasion and we do our very best to stock a collection that we think is sensibly priced.
