Although we are situated in Ayr, we are pleased to say that our customers come from far and wide and that includes from Edinburgh! It takes in the region of an hour and three quarters to drive here and we are a five minute walk from the train station.
We stock an extensive collection of outfits and the trend of the moment is very much our full skirted dresses in an array of colours and prints. If you are looking for a subtle nude or blush we have it and, if looking for full on bold and bright, we most certainly have that too! 👗👗We just do not think that there is only one "look" for mother of the bride and groom. We are all different, what appeals to one mum, will not appeal to the next and we will do our absolute best to make sure that you find an outfit that, you not only look amazing in, but, more importantly, feel amazing in!
Our present price range is 180GBP to 300GBP with three exceptions. Our hats and fascinators go from 40GBP to 140GBP and our satin shoe and bag sets average 100GBP. Weddings are an expensive occasion and we do our very best to stock a collection that we hope is sensibly priced!
Owing to the current situation, we are open by appointment only. We are open from 10:00-17:00 Monday to Saturday and the pre bookable time slots are 10:00, 11:30. 13:00, 14:30 and 16:00. Further details can be found here. The way in which we work will continue to be reflective of government guidelines and should any changes be necessary, we will up-date accordingly.
2020 has certainly not been the year hoped for. We are progressing, albeit slowly and, even more so, with regards to weddings. The Scottish government did announce, on the 20th Of August, that increased numbers at weddings would be permitted from the 14th of September. We have yet to be advised as to what that magic number will be and, I suspect, that it will not increase greatly.
However, weddings are happening and, no matter how small or informal, we have an extensive collection of fabulous dresses for that much anticipated day!
